As an organization, what are Categories and how do they work?

Categories may be used in some events and not others. Categories is a way for the event host to take a large number of companies and to separate them in the lobby into categories like regions, industry titles, resources.


If the event you are attending is using categories in the lobby of the event, you will be able to select which categories you want your booth to be in.  You will be asked to select categories in Step 8 of the set-up wizard.  You can select multiple categories if your business and jobs apply.  Not all events will utilize categories.  Very important that after you select categories you hit the BLUE "Complete Registration" button at the bottom of step 8.  If you do not hit the complete registration button, your registration will not be completed, and your booth will not be added to the event.
